SKOOLIE MAKERSPACES & NOMAD BUILD STOPS

If you’re just starting your skoolie dream or you’re already on the road full-time, Wanderlust Waypoints has a spot for you to build, repair, or remodel your nomadic home on wheels!

WANDERLUST WAYPOINTS?
WHAT?!?!

Wanderlust Waypoints was created for nomads and by nomads. With locations around the country, we provide a place for all of us crazy travellers to call home (at least for a little while.) Each location provides essential services that we all need when we’re out there chasing pavement.

FACILITIES, AMENITIES, & OTHER ``E's``

Even though every waypoint is unique, we aim to make sure that all locations in the network have a number of standard amenities. Because things are always changing at each spot, please check each location's page under "stay" in the menu to see the amenities that are currently being offered at the time of your stay.

Please be aware that some of our sites are off-grid or semi-off-grid. Specific amenities may sometimes need to be restricted due to low supply from mother nature.

NETWORK-WIDE STARTING SITE RATES

The rates below are our current starting rates at locations throughout the network. Each location’s pricing and amenity rates are partially set by our property partners so rates can vary from location to location. Additional charges can be expected at some locations for things like laundry, wifi, and incidentals.

NOMADIC BEACONS

All Wanderlust Waypoints focus on four Nomadic Beacons – Stay, Build, Learn, & Play. You’ll see what we mean below.

STAY

We offer a place to call home temporarily. Skoolie, Coach, RV, Van, Camper, Tiny House, or Cabin we have a place for you to park, power, and fill whatever travels with you. If you’re nomadic at heart but haven’t taken the plunge, we have units of all shapes and sizes at each location for you to dip your foot into whichever proverbial pool you’d like to!

BUILD

Most Waypoints have access to places where you can construct your dream, no matter what it’s made from! Our Skill Spaces include auto, wood, metal, and everything in between. We have the tools you’ll need to get the job done available for check out in the Tool Shed.

LEARN

All waypoints are places to give help, get help, teach and learn. We host workshops that cover a wide range of topics to help you “level up” and add a few stat points. Some sites have apiaries and organic gardens to teach sustainability and give back to the community. Others have animal rescues. Connecting with the Nomad Network gives you a support system both on and off the road!

PLAY

There is always something fun going down at a Waypoint. We will host tiny house shows, bus rallies, and conventions to bring more exposure to the tiny nomadic movement. We’re planning special events like organic tastings with local chefs, music festivals, art shows, and artisan craft days to bring some culture to our villages. We’re opening mercantile shops to offer a wide variety of items made on-site and from local artisans and vendors.

All of this adds up to make any Wanderlust Waypoint a unique experience that is different at every spot and every time you visit. All of the information you could ever want is pretty easily accessible around this site, so check us out, do your research and if you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to contact us!

This review concerns the perry FL location. I stayed with the fine folks at Powers little campground for a little over 2 weeks and highly enjoyed my stay! We actually had our mini fridge die the literal same day we arrived and they just happened to have a mini fridge that fit my dimensions to sell me on the spot. It's still running in my bus and keeping my food cold as I write this. The campground, as implied by the name is small, but the community welcomed us for our short stay and we're supportive of our bus projects. Highly recommend for any nomads that want something more personal than the standard campground experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Del Rio location! The owners are very community minded and helpful to everyone that comes along their path. Johnny Blaze is easy to work with and explains the process of staying at a Waypoint location thoroughly and makes everything easy. We will definitely get in touch when we're looking for another location around the U.S.

We had a super time staying in Chandler, TX! Nice property with an awesome pond and a big yard. Us and our dogs really appreciated the space to roam and play. Our hosts hooked us up with some tools that helped us get a few projects done on our skoolie, too. The winery across the street really topped off the experience 🥂

Great place to spend a week! They just finished the laundry room while we were there! It’s such a sweet community space with super kind and helpful owners. We had a 26ft trailer and pickup truck, getting out of the parking area was a bit of a challenge as it’s not super wide, but the owner & another person staying there helped us get out which was super kind!

I really enjoyed my short time. I and my partner stayed in a tent. Nancy was a delight and so too were the other guests and staff! Definitely check it out if you are in the area, especially if you have some RV projects to get done!

We enjoyed our week stay here! We have the large white bus :). Wanderlust is a fantastic up and coming place! We made great friends with everyone staying there, its a tight knit place in the best kinds of ways. Everyone is helpful and nice, and the process to stay is well vetted so you know your with great company. The location is beautiful, you can hike in the woods and see waterfalls and massive boulders. Parking was slightly inconvenient at the time, as our bus is very large and rides low. However the owner backed us in expertly, and I know they started expanding the parking area as we were departing. Can't wait to visit again, as I know its on track to be crazy great destination! Already is! PS: Town is close, and there's AWESOME destination places nearby to explore like Fall Creek Falls, Burgess Falls, and Cumberland Caves!

A fine spot for car camping in my Prius to explore Fall Creek Falls and Rock Island. I wanted to not stay at a state campground. Friendly folks and you can work on your campers etc if needed. Camp kitchen is in progress but there is an indoors hot shower/toilet. If you need to work on your nomadic vehicle, these Waypoints are where you want to be! Thanks for being here!
