Part of our mission is to make being responsible for the self-sufficiency of our food more accessible to everyone. Each Waypoints location looks to install greenhouses, gardens, raised beds, or some other vehicle to grow organic sustainable food for the guests staying at our locations and also for the local community. This on-site-grown produce also generates additional income for the location, allowing for the expansion of amenities to make things even better for everyone that stays with us.
Organic foods are not made with any chemical pesticides, GMO practices, or unsafe additives or stabilizers. This ensures the safety of the food for anyone that has chemical sensitivities or food-related allergies.
By choosing only organic seeds and plants we can feel good about selling the produce at farmer’s markets knowing that families will be taking healthy, locally grown fruits and veg home to their families.
Food is a universal language, like music. It can share stories and traditions just as effectively as well-written words on a page.
We grow a wide variety of food plants at our locations but try to focus on fruit and veg that is native to the region to prevent fauna infiltration and to continue the propagation of heirloom species for the future.
