Wanderlust Waypoints: Sierra Foothills is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range (obviously) and is located just 40 miles east of Fresno, CA. Right up the road from Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks and the Sequoia National Monument, you can build your skoolie, stay in your tiny house, or camp out under amazing dark sky views throughout our sprawling 72-acre property!
Though we do not yet have power hookups installed, we currently have tons of sites available for rigs of all sizes capable of boondocking, on solar, or on generator.
Sierra Foothills offers hundreds of sites for rigs of every shape and size. You can be connected with the rest of the community or all off on your own… it’s your choice. We also have cozy cabins and cottages available for rent!
Amenities currently include a shower house, laundry, outdoor kitchen, pool, cabins, breathtaking views, animal sanctuary (you get to play with horses, sheep, goats and other critters), community gathering space, a gold mine (yes, a gold mine) and our host with the most, Matt!
To provide a safe place and a secure environment for all our guests and families, we require some paperwork and we run a background check on anyone staying on-site overnight.
72 acres allows you to get into any project you want, no matter how large or small. Our build sites are currently off-grid but we do have generators available for rent. We have a selection of tools available and are constantly expanding our offerings!
With Sierra Foothill’s proximity to Fresno, a major shipping and transport hub, we have the availability to get pretty much anything delivered. There is also a network of trade professionals available for hire to help make your vision into reality (no matter how crazy your Mom says it is).
Sierra Foothills is also the home of Triple H Majestic Ranch, a horse and animal rehabilitation facility. You can get hands-on with a variety of breeds of horses and help muck the stalls… seriously, do you want to help muck the stalls? Please!?!?
Our “Buses & Beehives” Program allows you to experience a day in the life of a beekeeper in our apiary. Our organic gardens let you get your hands dirty, get a little zen, and maybe get a salad!
We also hold workshops and seminars from time to time on a wide range of topics as well as events for nomads from all walks of life.
On-site we have a pool, horseback riding, hiking, Overlanding, acres to ATV and 4WD, rock hunting, a gold mine, amazing opportunities for the amateur or professional photographer, and as much nature as you can take in.
Outside of our 72 acres, you have access to a wide range of natural beauty and activities in Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park and the Sierra National Forest including the General Sherman Tree and Tunnel Rock.
A 40-minute drive to Fresno and you can find shopping, restaurants, and a variety of other attractions for singles, couples, and families! Also, we’re six hours from Vegas… just sayin’.
